" WOW! Suzanne and Tapestry were top-notch and
exceeded our expectations! As a
presenter, you always hope that artists will be nice easy to work. From before they arrived to their departure,
they were gracious, kind, a pleasure to have…AND talented! We've received nothing but rave reviews from
everyone, including our sound technician, Mark, who has seen it all. I would recommend this show to anyone & everyone,
and we’ve already had requests for them to return."

“Tapestry was brilliant! With a
stellar band, Suzanne brought the audience on a journey through the
songbook of Carole King. This show was as close to a sure bet as you
can get in the arts. By featuring one of the mostlife-changing albums
of our era, it was sure to have tremendous appeal - and it did. That
said, this show went way beyond relying on great material! The
performances were world-class in every way. Truly a delight for any
music-lover, I'd recommend this show to anyone, and frequently do. Many
of our regular concert goers couldn't wait to tell me how much they
enjoyed it, and they want a repeat performance.”

"I went looking for the best possible live music
tribute to the legendary music of Carole King and I'm so grateful that
I found you. I was even happier still to know that you are able to
travel far and wide to bring your elegant and thrilling performance to
people everywhere who long for such a moment. Thank you for an
unforgettable evening with us in Draper, Utah, where an estimated
20,000 of our citizens gathered to hear Tapestry, followed by the 45
year anniversary tour of AMERICA. What a timely and timeless
combination from the 70's given the current success of the Broadway
show Beautiful. You brought back such a beautiful flood of music
memories. Every song was an unforgettable hit and it was truly
incredible to watch and listen and remember while you looked out over
the vast crowd from your gorgeous Grand piano and played and sang so
effortlessly. We certainly hope to have you back again and recommend
you to cities, towns and private events everywhere. You are loved and
remembered in Utah and the USA.
P.S. You and your band were so great to work
with. Thank you for all your kindness to our team. We all loved the
time we were able to spend together with you. We sincerely hope you
enjoyed your time in Utah and best to you always. Let us know if we can
help in anyway in the future with ongoing performances."

"You've done more than justice to Carole King's
remarkable music; you've interpreted and conveyed her songs with
extraordinary skill and passion. Congratulations on producing such an
entertaining and memorable show."

"Suzanne, after a lifetime of engaging performers, one
would think I had seen it all. But your performance here at Canal Walk
was so extraordinary that I was completely overwhelmed. Your beautiful
voice,
your interaction with the audience, and your enthusiasm with Carole King's
music was electrifying. The musicians who accompanied you were also the
finest that I have heard before.
Many
in the audience remarked that you didn't try to sound
like Carole, you used you own voice to celebrate her
compositions. The
ballroom rocked when you did her uptempo songs but her serious pieces
were done
with tender finesse.
I
hope the next concerts I produce will match the one last
night. But how can they? You are an unusually
gifted artist, and I
thank you for all you did to make me look good. What a
marvelous career
path you have earned."

“I had the privilege of seeing ‘Tapestry’ in
Midland, Ontario. Suzanne’s concert does more than simply remind you of
the Tapestry album. She and her fabulous cast of musicians go
a step further and recreate the essence and era of Carole King’s album,
both onstage with delightful vocals and masterful piano playing, and
offstage, with their ability to please the audience to the core.
A concert not to be missed!”

" 'Tapestry' was a fantasic show, the guys in
the band did a super job. Suzanne was just wonderful on keyboards and
voice. I really appreciate it, and it brought back a lot of great
memories!"

"Suzanne greets the sell-out crowd warmly and
starts singing and playing her piano to "Sweet Seasons". She
redirects her respect for this prolific songwriter into a tribute that
includes at least one tune everyone knows. Carole King is in a class of
her own and Suzanne accords the woman utmost adoration.
Suzanne has mastered each nuance of voice and
her piano playing. These were not mere covers but works of art which
brought pleasant memories to the listeners. Song after song
demonstrated the width of Carole King's legacy emphasizing the landmark
album "Tapestry". "Smackwater Jack" kicked
off the string of tunes from tonight's show, and "It's Too Late" is a
classic shown full respect. "So Far Away" showed her voice as smooth
and silky with a full range for all the notes.
Obviously, much planning and practicing was involved in bringing
Tapestry to the venue.
Nearly every song, such as “I Feel The Earth
Move” was known via FM radio and dance halls. She conveyed
"Where You Lead" and "It's Gonna Take Some Time", well-known hits, and
the evening was kicked up a notch with "Hard Rock Cafe”.
Act Two featured merely a few of the songs for which she wrote the
music and her husband composed the lyrics as a 'Goffin-King'
partnership. "Chains" by The Cookies, Little Eva's "The Loco-Motion"
and "Up on the Roof" debuted by The Drifters. Suzanne said she could
sing for a week and not include all the fine songs Carole and her
husband Gerry wrote. James Taylor heard her sing "You've Got a Friend"
and asked if he could record it. She agreed quickly and it became his
biggest career hit. "Will You Love Me Tomorrow", sung so softly and
sweetly, much more so than the original by The Shirelles.
Suzanne pointed out that Gerry wrote the words to Aretha Franklin's
smash " A Natural Woman", and had all the men singing along, too. She
belted out "Beautiful", which became the title of the smash
Broadway/London stage musical. She provided an encore to a standing
ovation audience with a bouncy "One Fine Day", The Chiffons hit from
1963. Her reception was terrific and one hoped her run was longer than
two days but who knows what the future will bring."
